Using Cisco Meraki MR46 and MR76 access points (APs) with AccelTex antennas, we created a robust wireless setup. The survey was performed with Ekahau Pro, enabling precise RF data visualization through signal heatmaps on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Findings
Signal Coverage Optimization:
- Comprehensive heatmaps indicated strong RSSI levels exceeding -65 dBm across the site. Strategic AP positioning reduced signal overlaps and dead zones.
Device Capacity and Density:

Design accounted for high-traffic areas like Conference rooms, production lines, and meeting spaces, ensuring smooth performance even during peak hours.
Enhanced Infrastructure:
- Upgraded to Category 6a cabling for efficient Power over Ethernet (PoE).
- Placement of APs maintained optimal distances to MDF/IDFs, minimizing latency.
Recommendations
To further enhance network efficiency we will conduct:
- Conduct periodic post-deployment reviews to confirm coverage.
- Evaluate PoE switch capacity for redundancy and scalability.
- Explore network segmentation to optimize guest and corporate traffic flows.
