Following the client's request in Irvine, CA, USA, a post-wireless site survey was conducted. The client highlighted concerns regarding intermittent connect/disconnect and inadequate wireless coverage.
The site had Cisco's and Fortinet's internal APs installed. During the survey, the RF Engineer found inconsistent channel width and many Access points were extremely high in power. Issues with individual access points (APs) were identified and a detailed report was submitted to the client with a remediation strategy. RF Engineer also identified power level issues with some APs. Hence RF profile optimization was also recommended via Meraki Dashboard.
